does anyone know more about this? how long should you wait?

They said I would have to pay a cancel fee and they would bill me. They never canceled it and I got a bill for over $3000. Then I found out he had also maxed up all my cards, even though they were in my name. I filed police reports and sent documents and called the credit agencies and everything but I still kept getting calls from people try

November 10th, 2010 admin Had final meeting with attorney week and half ago. Signed papers (with minor changes to be made by attorney), paid attorney fee & filing fee in full (checks have cleared). She said case would be filed by mid-week (that would have been Oct 4,5,6).
My problem (first of all, I am a terrible worrier)…. but I cannot get ahold of attorney. Left a couple messages with no response. Sent email, no response. Just want to know that my case is FILED prior to deadline!

Filing on Monday [final push] [creditors]
November 8th, 2010 admin In IL here. Met last month with a BK atty and got the ball rolling immediately. Finally paid the last of our fees to him this week and met with atty yesterday to go over things. I finally feel like we can breathe a little now. Our final push towards filing was DH losing his job last week.
I still have a few creditors calling, mainly Juniper. Told them numerous times to call our atty. Having the automatic stay will be good, as it will make them quit bugging me.

November 7th, 2010 admin Well today I went into the lawyers office to get copies of the filing they filed yesterday. Remember the screw up of the means test at 25K yearly when it should've been 65K with the tax refund included or 54K without the refund. The student lawyer told the lawyer in front of me well we were suppossed to fix that before the filing but I had a question and couldn't get ahold of the client(me) so I filed it like that. The lawyer was like what are you people talking about. So I expained that
Am I allowed to sell home? [right direction] [amount of time]
November 6th, 2010 admin I am awaiting a discharge from a CH7BK. Can I sell my home? Do I need to wait a certain amount of time before selling? Can my equity be taken if the house sells after the discharge? No time during my BK was my house for sell so the trustee knows nothing about it. The equity might be close to $50K or more.
Please lead me in the right direction. I am going to put this to my attorney tomorrow. I thought someone on this forum might know.

NCO – Sent mail certified RRR Green Card comes back blank?
October 13th, 2010 admin I recently sent a request for validation to NCO. I included a return receipt. I got the green card back with no signature, no anything. I’ve heard NCO is shady, and I don’t know what to think. My 30 days have expired now, and I have no evidence they received my letter.
Needless to say, USPS does not care.
Has this ever happened to anyone else?
