RSS FeedIf someone voluntarily asks a CL to be reduced, is a card legally allowed to report the new credit limit with the old high balance, making it erroneously look like the person went over limit?
Currently my cap one high balance reports as 7K even though my credit limit is 1K.
This gives the impression that I spent over my limit on my credit (which I didn't) and is dinging my score.
I used to have a Cap1 limit of 7.5K. At that time I spent 7K.

August 27th, 2011 admin As I mentioned in another post, I have shows a TL on all three reports from Cap One as a charge with an amount of ~ 2500.00. You have a Judgement by default on this account but never tried to collect or to re-file the verdict as required in Missouri. No PR appear on my reports in connection therewith. The original ceiling was less than 800.00. How should I approach this? I would not rock the boat, the PR is not there, and I do not want to be, but I plan to build a house later this year or early
Midland & an old, old debt [cap one] [capital one]
August 20th, 2011 admin I received a letter from Midland today tells me that she recently bought an old Capital One account from me and they would like to pay by 75% from the balance on the debt. NOT. The Capital One account is no longer on my credit report. The last day of the activity on the Cap One account is past SOL WhyChat 12/1999.
Do I send letter to Midland? Is that the correct letter to send?

has shows a 0 bal on all three reports from

I told the truth about our situation. . . I had visited earlier birth of our children for two months and between NICU and everything else I have forgotten that if CC CB payment.
